Center adds new board members

Family Resource Center announced the addition of three community leaders to its Board of Directors.

Lisa Hardy, President/CEO of Emerald Heights, and Michael Johnson, Environmental Engineer and Consultant for Lean Environment are both prominent Redmond business leaders who will fill a board position. Johnson is a past Chairman of the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Joan McBride, Kirkland Deputy Mayor, filled a Board position in April. McBride received an award for Outstanding Contribution to Human Services by the Alliance of Eastside Agencies in 2007, among other significant honors.

Toomey joins Redmond branch

Bob Toomey has joined D.A. Davidson & Co.’s Redmond branch office as a Financial Consultant.

He will be assisting individual investors and businesses in reaching their financial goals, providing a variety of investment products and services through D.A. Davidson & Co.

Toomey joins the firm with prior experience as Chief Equity Strategist for E.K. Riley Investments, was Managing Director for RBC (Dain Rauscher) Wealth Management, and was a Senior Equity Research Analyst for U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, all located in the Seattle area. He has been often quoted as an industry equity analyst in the Seattle media, and has appeared on CNBC.

Toomey attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
