Redmond-based Pushing Boundaries was a finalist in the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce's "Extreme Office Makeover" contest and has received software and hardware valued at $2,000 from Microsoft Corporation, sponsor of the contest.

Winners were announced May 12 at Qwest Field.

The grand prize winner of the $35,000 office makeover was Wing-It Productions, the non-profit behind Jet City Improv. Other finalists, which each received $2,000 worth of Microsoft products, were Adventure School, Thumbprint Corporation and Hilltop Yarn.

Contestants were required to have no more than 10 employees (full and part-time), have at least three operating personal computers and and have been in business for at least two consecutive years.

Pushing Boundaries, 4162 148th Ave. NE, is Washington state's only intensive exercise training facility for people with paralysis. The staff helps clients and their families overcome feelings of hopelessness and improve their health and mobility, sometimes even helping them to walk again.
