On the corner of Redmond Way and Leary Way, business is booming for Minuteman Press of Redmond. Under new ownership since November 2013, the franchise known for its green and orange signage and ability to print everything from banners to brochures has tripled its business in less than 18 months.

“After a tough first year, we doubled down on the business, overhauled production, painted the building, came up with a new merchandising concept, and now it is built to scale up,” said owner JD Klein in a press release. “We have a friendly, smart, helpful team of people working with equipment built for quality, scale and speed. We’ve added services like graphic design and direct mail. Customers like having a local source for high-quality printing and graphics”.

In November 2013, Klein, a former Microsoft and smartphone industry veteran, became the new owner of Minuteman Press.
