G2 Salon has opened at 16150 NE 85th St., Suite 213 in Redmond’s Village Square.

Owners are sisters Cynthia and Paula Glessner. The name G2 stands for “Glessner Times Two.”

Cynthia (Glessner) Olson has been in Redmond for 20 years, performing hair styling and treatments at other salons in the area.

Younger sister Paula Glessner-Vallee encouraged Cynthia to open her own business and offered to assist with the business details.

Paula formerly worked as an accountant with the Lake Washington School District.

Their brother Carl Glessner has also chipped in with his IT skills, helping to ensure all technology was in place for commerce at G2.

The sisters are joined by an accomplished group of sole proprietor hair stylists including Danette Kahler, Diane Johnson, Monica Henderson, Peter Golly, Krystal Dobbins and Miranda Mangini.
