AAA’s Soap for Hope donation drive recently collected and distributed an all-time record 126,646 toiletry items to charitable organizations throughout Washington state and northern Idaho. This represents a 21percent increase compared to last year’s collection of 105,079 items.

The Redmond AAA office alone collected more than 7,600 toiletry items. All items collected at the Redmond office were donated locally to the YWCA Redmond Family Village.

“We would like to thank our members and community partners for their generous gifts,” said Karen Freudlich, manager of AAA’s office in Redmond. “Every year we are overwhelmed by their outpouring of support.”
