Historical Society meeting coming up

The Redmond Historical Society will meet from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 14 at The Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th Street. Jerry Hammersberg, the first walking postal carrier in Redmond, will describe “how the Post Office used to be.”

To receive the society’s monthly newsletter, call (425) 885-2919 or e-mail info@redmondhistoricalsociety.org. Books, note cards, free historic walking tour brochures and the book “Redmond Reflections” are available in the society’s office at the community center.
