Thanks to 29 generous donors, the Puget Sound Cheerful Givers President’s Day fundraising campaign brought in enough money to buy toys for 600 birthday bags. The bags will be distributed to families served by Hopelink, so that their children can celebrate their birthdays, in spite of these difficult economic times.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to help put toys in bags, tie and curl ribbons and put stickers on bags. The volunteer event is from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, March 8 at the Redmond Regional Library, 15990 NE 85th St.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend the event. E-mail briana@cheerfulgivers.org or call (206) 618-5215.
