Redmond Arts in the Parks series continues free performances

The Redmond Arts Commission continues its 2008 Arts in the Parks series of free concerts and performances, Friday nights at 7 p.m. on the Redmond City Hall campus, 15670 NE 85th St. Bring a picnic and a blanket.

Each event includes artists from the 4Culture Site-Specific Performance Network, along with the main performance of the evening, as follows:

• Aug. 8, Los Flacos — The traditional sounds of Mexico, South America and the Caribbean come through in this performance of songs from Latin America.

• Aug. 15, Redmond Teen Night — Sound the alarm! Local teen bands will entertain. Check www.redmond.gov/arts for the line-up.
