MK Ballet is dancing into Redmond on July 3 and 5

MK Ballet will present excerpts from "Swan Lake" and "Don Quixote" at 7 p.m. on July 3 and 5 at The Redmond Performing Arts Center (17272 N.E. 104th St.).

Guest dancers in "Don Quixote" will be Joshua Kurtzberg and Sabrina Schulbach of the American Repertoire Ballet.

Artistic director is Michiko Black, who makes all the costumes herself. Black is a former Japan national ballet champion, a soloist in the Tokyo Ballet, a former Ms. Tokyo and film star in Japan.
