Redmond Arts in the Park will present a Musicians and Poets Open Mic night at 7 p.m. Friday, July 16 on the Redmond City Hall Campus, 15670 NE 85th St. Sign-up time for performers is 6 p.m.

Musicians, singers and spoken word artists, age 16 or older, are invited to take the stage for this third annual "Redmond Arts Jam." The change this year is that there is no back-up band, but either local soloists or bands are welcome to perform.

Musicians should bring their own instruments. A PA, microphones, backline amps and drum kit will be provided. Drummers, bring your own sticks.

All material must be family-friendly. Each group or musician can perform up to two songs.

All community members are invited to enjoy the free entertainment and support their talented neighbors.
