Drivers need a roundabout education | Letter

At least three times someone traveling around the roundabouts on Novelty Hill and Union Hill have almost caused an accident.

One guy came around on the inside lane and tried to drive across the outside lane to exit the circle.

Another time a driver entering the roundabout from Union Hill, ignored the people in the circle and entered causing us to stop for him. My husband was in the passenger seat, having just had back surgery, and we were driving home from the doctor. An accident could have put him in the hospital again if I hadn’t come to an abrupt stop in the circle. Fortunately, no one was behind me in the circle.

I always drive on the outside of the circle because of these experiences. Redmond drivers need some education on how to use the roundabouts. I grew up with roundabouts in another state and never had these problems.
