Manka Dhingra is a crossover candidate | Letter

I heard an interesting story from someone who hosted a Manka Dhingra fundraiser at his home.

He invited his Republican friends. Their reaction gives me hope that this country can come together again.

They sized Democrat Manka Dhingra up for what she is, not what her party label is.

On their way out, they asked for yard signs.

Manka Dhingra is a public safety professional. She has worked hard and successfully to get veterans what they need to succeed in civilian life. One of her favorite quotes is that a society thrives when old men plant trees whose shade they will never live to enjoy.

If I were a conservative, I’d be giving her a very careful look, just as those Republican guests at the fundraiser did.
