Redmond native crowned Miss Puget Sound

Jillian Catherine Roels will also be competing for Miss Washington on June 30.

Jillian Catherine Roels, was crowned Miss Puget Sound 2018 at the Open pageant at Carco Theatre, Renton on April 8.

She will be competing for the title of Miss Washington with the Miss Washington Scholarship Organization on June 30. Miss Washington goes on to compete for the Miss America crown in the summer.

Jillian is a graduate of Redmond High School ’12 and Gonzaga University ’16 where she was a Deans list recipient majoring in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.

Jillian was a collegiate cheerleader during her time at Gonzaga. Her platform is her own organization, Spark Your Heart, a nonprofit dedicated to creating and inspiring random acts of kindness. She is a Pediatric Mental Health Coordinator at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
