Youth Eastside Services (YES) is currently accepting sponsors for its Adopt-a-Family program.

Sixty-three percent of families YES serves are low-income or extremely low-income. Every November, the organization endeavors to make the holidays brighter for many of these families by matching them with donors through its Adopt-a-Family program. Last year, the program allowed sponsors to give much-needed support to more than 50 families in need during the holidays.

Anyone can sign up to sponsor a family by completing the online form on the YES website. On the form, sponsors select how many families and how many children they would like to support. YES then matches the sponsor with an appropriate family. Sponsors commit to giving the family:

· A $50 gift card for each child, so their parent or guardian can shop for the perfect gift.

· A $50 gift card to help purchase food or other household items.

Sponsor signup will run through Nov. 25 and gift cards are due to YES’s Bellevue location by Dec. 16.
