Briana Nettles holds her sister, Kayla, 5, on her lap while wrapping gifts during the “Step Out, Step Up: It’s a Wrap” event at Redmond Town Center last Thursday. Approximately 50 volunteers attended the event and wrapped 1,000 items for women in the community who might not be receiving gifts this season. Redmond Town Center donated 200 gifts from the event to Nettles, a senior at Eastlake High School, for her senior project. Nettles is focusing her project on supporting The Seattle’s Union Gospel Misson’s Women and Children’s Shelter and the Salvation Army in White Center.
