The Redmond Saturday Market ended with a howl last weekend.

Customers and vendors dressed up their pets — all dogs — in Halloween costumes at the Saturday Market's "Howl-o-ween" event during the market season finale last Saturday.

The event featured a pet parade of the dogs with two judges picking the best dressed. The top three dogs won a gift certificate to PetSmart. Penny, a wired-hair Dachshund dressed up like a hot dog, won first place. Cooper, a Wheaton Terrier and Husky mix, was second in his magician outfit.

In addition, the Seattle Humane Society's Max Mobile, a mobile pet adoption and education center, also made a stop at the market.
