On Dec. 17, the Redmond Senior Center's Senior Advisory Committee co-chairs Ray Anspach (left) and Marian Anderson (middle) presented a $460 check to Kay Lloyd (right) of the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center in Cle Elum. The monetary gift from the Redmond Senior Center was to help the Upper Kittitas center rebuild after a fire that occurred there last August. Generous Redmond seniors and other community members also donated more than a thousand books to help restock the library at the Upper Kittitas center.
