City seeks candidates for Redmond Salary Commission

The Redmond City Council has established by ordinance an independent salary commission to review and set elected officials’ salaries. This commission, known as the Redmond Salary Commission, is expected to begin its work in early October 2010 and conclude by December 14, 2010. Appointments are for a two-year term.

Redmond residents interested in serving on the Redmond Salary Commission may submit a letter of interest that includes their name and contact information and a statement of qualifications that highlights any relevant experience.

The letters or e-mails should be delivered by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 to Sharyn Robbins, Human Resources, at City of Redmond, P.O. Box 97010, M/S 3NHR, Redmond, WA 98073-9710 or by e-mail to srobbins@redmond.gov.
