The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is seeking existing space for a new Redmond Post Office.

If suitable existing space is not available, the USPS would consider a 51,000-square foot site on which to construct a 5,075-square foot building.

The preferred area is designated within the downtown central Redmond business district.

The present Redmond Post Office, 16135 NE 85th St., has been sold and the U.S. Postal Service is looking for a new location in the downtown business area for a postal retail operation.

Solicitation will close on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010.

Proposals and questions should be submitted to: John Logan, 221 Eastwood Dr., Southlake TX 76092-7901.
