Redmond Police Blotter: Xbox, video games stolen from unlocked home

The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.
Thursday, April 21
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 39-year-old Redmond man for investigation of DUI near the corner of Red-Wood Road and Northeast 116th Street after several other drivers reported a possible drunk driver at 2:03 p.m.
Wednesday, April 20
Burglary: Video games and an Xbox were stolen from an unlocked residence in the 18500 block of Northeast 21st Street.
Theft: Several wireless microphones were stolen from building No. 33 on the Microsoft campus and put up for sale on eBay.
Tuesday, April 19
Marijuana: Redmond police contacted a woman at Idylwood Park at around 10 p.m. and later found marijuana in her vehicle. The woman was arrested and her vehicle was impounded.
Vehicle theft: A vehicle was stolen from a business in the 7400 block of 159th Place Northeast.
Monday, April 18
Reckless rock throwing: A man who was driving through downtown called police at 5:12 p.m. to report that a rock was thrown at his vehicle in the 15900 block of Redmond Way. There are suspects at this time.
Sunday, April 17
Marijuana: Redmond police impounded an vehicle suspected of having drugs inside at the corner of Northeast 116th Street and 154th Place Northeast at around 8:30 p.m.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a 7:18 p.m. report of a shoplift at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 7:05 p.m. report of an assault at a bar in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street.
Car prowl: At 4:40 p.m., a GPS was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6700 block of 188th Place Northeast.
Shoeless: At 10:46 a.m., a pair of tennis shoes were reported stolen from the front porch of a house in the 5700 block of 190th Avenue Northeast.
Meds stolen: At 10:06 a.m., medication located inside a glove box of a car parked in the 6500 block of 190th Avenue Northeast, was reported stolen.
Saturday, April 16
Fleeing food: Redmond police investigated a 10:57 p.m. reported theft at a store in the 17200 block or Redmond Way. The suspect fled with several food items, but was not found.
Purse snatcher: A woman reported at 9:09 p.m. that her purse was stolen while she was shopping at a grocery store in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.
Vandalism: At 8:53 p.m., Redmond police received a report of graffiti inside of a school in the 13500 block of Northeast 75th Street.
Night prowls: Unknown suspects have been entering a City of Redmond construction site in the 16800 block of Northeast 116th Street and vandalizing equipment.
Stolen bike: At 10:27 a.m., a bike was reported stolen from an apartment complex garage in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway.
Friday, April 15
Burglary: A man was arrested at 3:42 p.m. for investigation of residential burglary in the 14700 block of Northeast 66th Street.
Mail theft: A man who lives in the 16800 block of Northeast 39th Circle reported at 4:06 p.m. that mail had been stolen from his apartment complex mailbox.
Wrong wires: A sub-contractor was caught stealing wire from a construction site in the 1600 block of Northeast 36th Way. When confronted by the employer, the suspect ran away, leaving behind concealed stolen property.
Burglars caught: Redmond police arrested two men for investigation of residential burglary in the Grasslawn neighborhood.
