Redmond Athletic Club (RAC) members got a chance dunk their favorite athletic trainer at Monday's member appreciation open house event, eat some barbecue food and meet fellow members.
The event, which attracted approximately 50 people, also kicked off a free week of RAC service for members.
"It was our way of saying thank you to all of our current members and to meet some new faces as well," said Tanna Radtke, marketing specialist for RAC.
Club members got a chance to sink Serious About Fitness trainer Chris Doran, RAC co-owner Ryan Neal, Boot Camp trainer Sgt. Mike Lawson and RAC manager Ryan Rourke in the dunk tank. To check out a video of the dunking fun, click here.
All of them "had the pleasure of being dunked over the course of the evening," Radtke said.
RAC will be holding its Wellness Fair Oct. 26 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the club, which is located at 8709 161st Ave. N.E .The fair will offer an opportunity for members to meet health care providers and check health-related products in the area, Radtke said.
