Nothing says Christmas like picking out a tree to decorate.
And two popular local tree farms are making it easy for Redmond residents to pick out the perfect tree.
McMurtrey's Red-Wood Christmas Tree Farm, 13925 Woodinville-Redmond Rd., is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 20. Customers can choose from precut or U-cut trees. The farm will provide saws. U-cuts close at 4 p.m.
Available trees include Noble, Grand, Douglas and Fraser firs. In addition to picking out a tree, customers can enjoy free hot chocolate, hot cider and candy canes as well as free wagon rides. Mistletoe, wreaths and decorations can also be purchased at McMurtrey's. They accept cash or check only. Dogs on leashes are also allowed on the lot.

Customers can pick from Nordmann, Noble and Douglas fir trees. Saws are provided for the U-cut trees as well as cut assistance. Tree can be baled — the farm provides free courtesy tree loading and tie downs, as well as hot coffee or other beverages.
