Wednesday, Oct. 17
Assault: Redmond police investigated an assault that occurred in the 9000 block of Willows Road at 1:59 a.m. The male suspect can be described. The investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism: Redmond police investigated the puncturing of a vehicle's tires in the 11000 block of 166th Place Northeast on Education Hill at 12:13 a.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 16
Burglary: A resident reported at 7:06 p.m. items taken from his apartment in the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street in Overlake while he was away at work.Fraud: Redmond police investigated a fraud report at 5:20 p.m. The victim had his Chase debit card used without authorization.
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police took a car prowl report from the 18600 block of Northeast 63rd Way downtown Stolen vehicle recovery: At 2:01 p.m., a vehicle stolen from the City of Redmond was located and recovered in Pierce County.
Monday, Oct. 15
DUI: At 1:33 p.m., Redmond police were notified of a possible DUI driver that was parked in a downtown parking lot with children in the vehicle. The vehicle was seen leaving the parking lot a short time later. A traffic stop was made in the 8600 block of 160th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill after the vehicle committed some moving violations. There were two minor children in the vehicle. The woman was subsequently taken into custody for investigation of driving under the influence and two counts of reckless endangerment. Charges are pending.
Theft: Money was reported stolen from a tip jar in a business in the 7900 block of Gilman Street downtown at 11:05 a.m.
Out of gas: At 11:02 a.m., it was reported that gasoline was stolen from a Hopelink work truck in the 16700 block of Cleveland Street downtown.
Fraud: Redmond police investigated a report of a fraud in the 13300 block of Northeast 69th Way in Grass Lawn at 8:39 a.m.
