LW Schools Foundation to host luncheon

The Lake Washington Schools Foundation (LWSF) will host its third annual “Legacy for Learning” luncheon from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at the Juanita High School Field House, 10601 NE 132nd St., Kirkland.

The “Legacy for Learning” luncheon is an annual fundraising event dedicated to providing supplemental funding for learning opportunities that support excellence in education and encourage students to reach their full potential.

Dennis Bounds, KING-5 TV news anchor, is returning for his third year as master of ceremonies. Speakers will include students impacted by the foundation’s efforts as well as educators in the district.

Corporate sponsors for the event include Magellan Architects, Bank of America, Citrix, Redmond Town Center and Sodexho.
