City officials encourage people to be Redmond Ready for emergencies

The City of Redmond Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is hosting its second Redmond Ready Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 at Overlake Christian Church, 9900 Willows Road N.E.

The Redmond Ready campaign encourages citizens to be trained in three areas: First Aid, CPR and personal preparedness.

Redmond Ready Day provides training in all three areas with the only cost being a discounted rate of $14 for first aid and CPR training. The two-hour personal preparedness class is free.
