Officers investigating spray-painted mailboxes on Education Hill | Police blotter for Nov. 15-19
The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.
Monday, Nov. 19
Traffic arrest: At 2:56 a.m., a female was arrested in the 17500 block of Redmond Way downtown and released for driving with a suspended license in the third degree.
Sunday, Nov. 18
Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 3:49 p.m. from a business in the 17900 block of Union Hill Road downtown. There are no suspects at this time.
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police took a report of a car prowl at 12:29 p.m. from an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill.
Vandalism: Redmond police took a report at 10:42 a.m. of mailboxes being spray painted in a neighborhood in the 16000 block Northeast 106th Street on Education Hill. There are no leads at this time.
Saturday, Nov. 17
DUI: At 10:25 a.m., Redmond police contacted a male who was speeding at Northeast 51st Street and 150th Avenue Northeast in Overlake. He was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Bicycle theft: Redmond police responded to a call at 8:06 a.m. from the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street in Overlake, reporting the theft of a bicycle.
Warrant: A female in the 17800 block of Redmond Way was arrested at 12:12 a.m. for an outstanding warrant.
Friday, Nov. 16
Fraud: Redmond police investigated the fraudulent use of a credit card in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake at 4:43 p.m. Unknown suspects made multiple purchases in Indonesia.
Weapons offense: Redmond police arrested a man in the 16300 block of Northeast 83rd Street downtown for unlawful bus conduct and a weapons offense at 8:35 a.m.
Bicycle theft: At 3:24 a.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of a bicycle from outside the victim's condominium in the 8100 block of 146th Court Northeast in Grass Lawn. There is no suspect information.
Drugs: Redmond police responded to a 911 call at 1:56 a.m. in the 5200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn where drugs were discovered.
Thursday, Nov. 15
Theft: Redmond police investigated the theft of a laptop computer at 9:10 p.m. from a building on the Microsoft campus in the 5600 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.
Don't call me: Redmond police investigated a cell phone theft at 8:30 p.m. in the 15100 block of Northeast 40th Street in Overlake. There is no suspect information.
