Redmond police looking for armed robbery suspects
May 30, 2008 · Updated 12:38 PM
Redmond Police Department investigators are looking for two Hispanic males, who robbed a Redmond convenience store at gun point last Saturday at 9:40 p.m.
The female store clerk was the only one working in the store near 16200 Redmond Way Northeast when she was confronted by the two masked men, including one who pulled out a gun.
The clerk gave the suspects cash and jewelry from the counter drawers before the suspects locked the clerk in the store bathroom and fled the scene. The store clerk was not injured and Redmond detectives are investigating. The shaken-up clerk told police the suspects were Hispanic, but were hard to identify because they were wearing black masks and gloves.
The stolen merchandise valued around $10,000, according to Lt. Doug Shepard, who reiterated it was only an early estimate.
Redmond investigators will look at store video this week and try to identify the suspects, Shepard said.
