Update: Missing Redmond man's death ruled a suicide

February 12, 2013 · Updated 9:39 AM

King County Search and Rescue crews located the body of missing Redmond man Ira Thomas Clodfelter, 28, at about 10 a.m. on Saturday off a trail at Rattlesnake Mountain in North Bend, according to Redmond Police Department spokesman Jim Bove.

"There are no signs of foul play," Bove said. The King County Medical Examiner's Office said that the cause of death was suicide with a gunshot to the head.

Bove added that he learned through an interview with one of Clodfelter's good friends that he was very well respected and liked by friends and colleagues.
