Trespass warning issued downtown | Police blotter for Feb. 21

The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Vehicle prowl: A vehicle prowl occurred at 9:42 p.m. from a business in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street in Overlake.

Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a shoplifting report at 4:10 p.m. from the 17600 block of Union Hill Road downtown. The suspect was arrested and released.

Trespass: Officers issued a trespass warning letter at a business in the 16200 block of Northeast 87th Street on Education Hill at 12:56 p.m.

Vehicle prowl attempt: It was reported at 8:16 a.m. that someone had smashed the windows of two company vans in the 10600 block of Willows Road in Grass Lawn sometime during the night. The vans were empty and nothing was taken.
