The Redmond Rotary Club invites the public to attend their lunch meetings on July 10 and July 24. Meetings are from 12:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Redmond Marriott Town Center, 7401 164th Ave. NE.

On Thursday, July 10, the speaker is Rob Forenza, Rotary member and 2008 Red-Spoke Committee Chair. The Redmond Rotary has sponsored this five-day, 300-mile recreational bicycle tour for more than 20 years as a fundraiser for local organizations which serve children in need.

Each Red-Spoke participant must contribute or collect a minimum of $550 in addition to their registration and optional transportation fee, for the benefit of organizations such as Friends of Youth or Hopelink.

On Thursday, July 24, Dale Miller, vice president of the Redmond Saturday Market, will be featured.

There will be no Rotary meetings on July 3 or 17 and the July 31 meeting is open to members only.

Costs to attend the lunch meetings is $20 per person. Advance registration is not necessary. For information, contact Mike Nichols, (425) 885-2283 or mnichols@rgia.com or leave a message at (206) 298-9288.
