City of Redmond to host Cleveland Streetscape open house

The City of Redmond will host an open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 to discuss this month’s start of the Cleveland Streetscape construction (161st Avenue Northeast to 164th Avenue Northeast) and the status of upcoming city improvements in the downtown core. The event will take place in the Red160 Apartments lobby located at 16015 Cleveland St. Light refreshments will be served.

The purpose of the open house is to share the city’s downtown vision and how Cleveland Street will transform into downtown Redmond’s new “main street.” Included will be updates on the Downtown Park Master Plan, arts and cultural programming and new parking options as they are helping to shape the future of Redmond’s downtown neighborhood.

The city will continue active outreach efforts during construction through multiple media sources and wants to make sure interested businesses, residents and citizens are informed.  The city will share how to access information and who to contact with questions and concerns.
