City to hold Downtown Park workshop on Wednesday

The City of Redmond is seeking interested candidates to claim their stake in the Downtown Park and attend a public workshop beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

The event will be hosted in the Bytes Café, located on the first floor of City Hall at 15670 N.E. 85th St.

To get everyone's creative juices flowing and inspire possibilities for the park, the evening will begin with a brief presentation of contemporary park photos from around the world. After the presentation, participants will break out into small groups and work with a discussion leader to share their concepts and ideas in a workbook.

The workbook discussion points will focus on gaining the public's feedback on the following topics:

  • Look and character of Downtown Park
  • Programming: What do people want to do there?
  • Vision statement for Downtown Park
