Puget Sound Energy Community Advisory Group to meet tomorrow in Bellevue

Puget Sound Energy's Community Advisory Group will meet to discuss PSE's Energize Eastside plan from 5:30-8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Hilton Bellevue Hotel, 300 112th Ave. S.E.

Keep current on PSE's Energize Eastside proposal to increase the size and capacity of power lines running through the cities of Renton, Newcastle, Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond at this meeting of PSE's Community Advisory Group. This meeting will feature new photo simulations prepared by power engineers that depict what the new transmission lines might look at various points along the proposed route. It will also feature a summary of comments and questions submitted to PSE during May about the Energize Eastside project, as well as PSE’s responses.

The Coalition of Eastside Neighborhoods for Sensible Energy (CENSE) will have representatives at the meeting to discuss the community's point of view on Energize Eastside. CENSE is an all-volunteer coalition of residents concerned about many aspects of the Energize Eastside project. Members include homeowners, teachers, engineers, business executives, energy industry consultants, government contractors and attorneys.

Other upcoming meetings:

• July 7: PSE question-and-answer session. Time and location to be determined.

• July 9: PSE Community Advisory Group Meeting, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Renton Technical College (Building I, Robert C. Roberts Campus Center Cafeteria), 3000 N.E. Fourth St.
