Monday, Aug. 11
Reckless driving: Redmond police officers saw a man driving a vehicle recklessly in the 9000 block of Avondale Road. After pulling into a Education Hill Apartment complex, the man ran away, leaving the keys in the ignition.
Sunday, Aug. 10
Angry mom: A man called police to report that his mother attempted to run him over with her vehicle in the 8500 block of Willows Road.
Saturday, Aug. 9
Walk this way: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy after he was caught trespassing through the yards of two residents in the 2600 block of 185th Avenue Northeast. The boy was under the influence of alcohol and refused to leave when asked by homeowners.
Wake-up call: A man who had been drinking passed out behind the wheel of a running pickup truck in the 16900 block of Redmond Way, blocking the drive through. The driver was at first unresponsive but eventually woke up and was arrested.
Friday, Aug. 8
Theft: A woman who lived in the 16100 block of Cleveland Street reported to police that a contractor who was working at her residence stole some jewelry from her home.
Thursday, Aug. 7
Rocked: A woman reported that someone had thrown a rock through the back window of her vehicle, which was parked in the 3400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Wednesday, Aug. 6
Mirrors missing: A Kirkland resident who was working at a business in the 16300 block of Redmond Way reported that the side mirrors of her vehicle had stolen during her shift.
