Marchione to speak at luncheon

Mayor John Marchione will give a “The State of Redmond” speech at the Sept. 18 Redmond Rotary luncheon. The meeting will be held 12:15-1:30 p.m. at the Redmond Mariott Town Center, 7401 164th Ave. NE.

Marchione is in his first term as Mayor of Redmond. As the city’s executive officer, he oversees day-to-day operations and functions of city government and is responsible for carrying out public policy adopted by the City Council. Marchione has experience in local government finance and management. He holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington and a B.A. from Seattle University.
