Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinemas, the new luxury movie theatres at Redmond Town Center will open to the public on Friday, Oct. 31. The opening was initially scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24, but "due to a slight construction delay," the date was pushed back, said Jeff Rose of The Rose Group, a Culver City, Calif.-based public relations firm representing the cinemas.

Gold Class Cinemas are "bringing service back to the theater industry, offering a unique experience to the serious movie lover and upscale consumer," according to a press release.

"From valet service to a personal concierge greeting and an individual attendant during your visit, Gold Class prides itself on the superior service experience. Each Gold Class Cinema will feature eight super wide digital screens with a maximum of 40 fully reclining personal armchairs in full-sized auditoriums."

Patrons will be able to choose from a large selection of fresh chef-prepared meals, signature cocktails and an extensive wine list, all from the comfort of their chair.

Gold Class Cinemas are located on the upper level of Redmond Town Center, 16451 NE 74th St.
