November 10, 2008 · Updated 4:03 PM
In an effort to improve traffic flow during the holidays, the City of Redmond and Redmond Town Center are implementing temporary traffic control at two locations around Redmond Town Center from mid-November to early January. (Click here for interactive map.) They are:
• 166th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 76th Street: Southbound traffic on 166th Avenue Northeast must turn right onto Northeast 76th Street.
Northbound traffic on 166th Avenue Northeast will have a stop sign – making the intersection an all-way stop.
For drivers going southbound on 166th Avenue Northeast - Town Center merchants and Bear Creek Parkway can be accessed via the parking garages or 164th Avenue Northeast.
REI/Macy’s parking lot can be accessed via 164th Avenue Northeast/Northeast 74th Street or Bear Creek Parkway.
• Northeast 74th Street and Bear Creek Parkway: Left turns onto Bear Creek Parkway will be prohibited.
For more information regarding the holiday traffic control, contact the Traffic Operations Manager, Rob Crittenden, at (425) 556-2838 or rcrittenden@redmond.gov.
