Missing Redmond woman contacts her family

Shey Anne Sanchez (Niezgoda), a 43-year-old female who was reported missing on Feb. 8, contacted her family by phone on Tuesday, according to the Redmond Police Department (RPD).

“We believe she is not in the local area at this time and left Redmond on her own,” said RPD public information officer Becky Range.

RPD continues to work with the family in Redmond to ensure that Sanchez is receiving assistance. RPD is no longer searching for Sanchez as a missing person.

According to an earlier report, Sanchez’s last known location was 2500 152nd Ave. N.E. near the Village at Overlake Station Apartments.

Early in the day Feb. 8, Sanchez called a family member and sounded upset, but did not give specifics. A search of her residence revealed no signs of foul play.
