Sen. Rodney Tom and Rep. Ross Hunter invite Eastside residents to a town hall meeting Thursday, Jan. 8 for a discussion of the upcoming 2009 legislative session, which begins January 12.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Redmond City Hall.

The two Eastside legislators, along with Rep. Deb Eddy (D-Kirkland), hosted an earlier town hall meeting on Dec. 17 and responded to a number of questions on issues ranging from the state’s budget situation to education funding to Husky Stadium renovations.

Tom and Hunter encourage community members to continue the conversation and come with questions, ideas and comments.

For more information, contact Sen. Tom’s legislative aide Suzette Cooper at (360) 786-7694 or cooper.suzette@leg.wa.gov.
