Redmond residents with an interest in the future growth and character of the city are invited to apply for a vacancy on the Redmond Planning Commission. Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council and may serve up to two four-year terms.

The commission’s role is to make recommendations regarding planning policy and zoning regulations.

Planning Commission meetings are held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, typically three times a month.

Interested residents living within Redmond city limits should contact the Mayor’s office at (425) 556-2101 or download a community service application form at www.redmond.gov/insidecityhall/boards.asp.

Mail the completed application to the Office of the Mayor, City of Redmond, P.O. Box 97010, Redmond, WA 98073-9710 or fax to (425) 556-2110. If available, include a resume or summary of related experience. All board and commission members are volunteers.

New applications are preferred by Feb. 13; however, the position is open until filled. For more information, call (425) 556-2101 or e-mail thudson@redmond.gov.
