For the second Saturday evening in a row, an armed robbery occurred at Tienda Mi Mazatlan, 16720 Redmond Way, Suite D.

On Jan. 24 at 8:05 p.m., two suspects entered the store and one pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the female clerk. The suspects fled with $500 cash.

On Jan. 31 at around the same time of the the previous week’s robbery, just one person entered the store, pointed a gun at a female employee and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t hand over the money, according to Redmond Police spokesperson Jim Bove. He then told her to lie down and count to 10, as he ran out of the store with just over $400, Bove said. If you have any information about the incidents, call (425) 556-2545.
