Redmond Police to offer Identity Theft class on Feb. 25

The Redmond Police Department will offer a free Identity Theft class at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.25 in the Public Safety Building (PD) training room at 8701 160th Ave. NE.

Topics to be covered include:

• Common identity theft scams

• How to identity thieves by safeguarding your information

• Detecting suspicious activity by routinely monitoring your financial accounts and billing statements

• What to do if you become a victim

• How to avoid becoming a victim
