45th & 48th Legislative District reps to hold town halls in Redmond, Bellevue

The 45th District’s state representatives will hold a town hall meeting Saturday, March 14 at the Redmond City Council Chambers at City Hall, 15670 NE 85th St.

Sen. Eric Oemig, D-Kirkland and Reps. Larry Springer, D-Kirkland and Roger Goodman, D-Kirkland, invite residents to share their comments and questions about the important issues facing the 45th District, which includes Redmond, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

In addition, 48th District legislators Sen. Rodney Tom, D-Medina, and Reps. Ross Hunter, D-Medina and Deb Eddy, D-Kirkland, will hold a town hall meeting Saturday, March 14, to discuss this year’s legislative session. The session began Jan. 12 and is scheduled to adjourn April 26.

The trio has invited local leaders to discuss the state’s current efforts around funding for basic education.

Constituents are encouraged to attend and bring their questions and comments.

The March 14 event will be at 10 a.m. at Chinook Middle School, 2001 98th Ave. NE in Bellevue.
