On Monday, July 27, critical road and drainage improvements begin on East Lake Sammamish Parkway between Northeast 65th Street and 187th Avenue Northeast. This work will cause traffic delays as intermittent northbound and southbound lane and shoulder (bike route) closures and detours will occur.

This work is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. for the next two months. Motorists are asked to consider alternate routes and to use caution when approaching this area, obeying all posted signs and personnel.

This project will remove and replace damaged concrete panels, rehabilitate existing concrete pavement and resurface lanes and shoulders with asphalt pavement. It is funded, in part, through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

For more information on this project, contact Joseph O’Leary, project manager at joleary@redmond.gov or (425) 556-2738.
