The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.

Wednesday, March 10

Assault: Redmond Police arrested a man for outstanding warrants after he was involved in an assault at an apartment complex in the 9100 block of Red-Wood Road.

Tech thefts: Microsoft Corporation reported thefts of a MacBook Pro laptop and Dell Latitude laptop from a building in the 15500 block of Northeast 31st Street.

Attempted break-in: Redmond Police responded to a residence in the 8200 block of 133rd Avenue Northeast, where unknown suspect(s) entered the backyard and attempted to break into a parked motor home. No suspect information is available.

Tuesday, March 9

Shoplifting: Redmond Police arrested a suspect for shoplifting at a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

Monday, March 8

Not of age: Redmond Police arrested three men who were under 21 for drinking alcohol in the 12000 block of 176th Avenue Northeast.

Window bashing: An employee reported that someone broke a window at her business in the 17100 block of Avondale Way.

Vandalism: Redmond Police investigated an incident in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street in which a suspect keyed a vehicle, possibly in retaliation over a parking dispute.

Sunday, March 7

Burglary: Someone entered a victim’s open garage in the 2000 block of 182nd Avenue Northeast and stole several items from an unlocked vehicle.

Saturday, March 6

Theft: Someone stole a child’s bike from the front yard of a residence in the 14000 block of Northeast 73rd Street.

Friday, March 5

Car prowls: A woman who lives in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street reported that her car window had been smashed and an estimated $650 worth of items inside the vehicle were stolen. There was another car prowl nearby in the 16200 block of Northeast 74th Street, where a car window was smashed, but nothing was stolen.

Thursday, March 4

Assault: Redmond Police arrested a man for domestic violence assault in the fourth degree in the 14800 block of Redmond Way.

Theft: Groceries were stolen from the front doorstep of a residence in the 9700 block of 158th Place Northeast. The groceries were later found in some nearby bushes.
