Cleaning van seen dumping waste in city | Police blotter

DUI and drugs: Redmond police arrested a driver for DUI and the passenger of the vehicle for possession of marijuana near the corner of Northeast 75th Street and West Lake Sammamish.

Illegal dumping: The driver of a cleaning van was seen dumping waste water onto a vacant lot on Northeast 95th Street. An investigation is pending.

Felony theft: A resident at a retirement home in the 7900 block of Willows Road was found to be missing several rings. An investigation is pending.

Tuesday, March 16

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a burglary in the 16600 block of Northeast 48th Street. The suspect entered through an open garage and stole items from an unlocked vehicle.

Monday, March 15

Assault: A woman was arrested for domestic violence assault in the fourth degree after striking her significant other with a shoe, hands and feet in the 9400 block of 180th Avenue Northeast.

Hot temper: Redmond police arrested a woman for assaulting her daughter with a glass salsa jar.

Sunday, March 14

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft from a residence in the 15900 block of Northeast 95th Way. The victim was missing several name-brand handbags. There is no suspect information.

Saturday, March 13

Assault: Redmond police arrested a man for assaulting his wife in a vehicle in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast at around 10 p.m.

Theft: A trailer, filled with tools and building materials, was stolen from a construction site in the 2200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

DUI: A Redmond resident was arrested for DUI after being involved in a traffic accident in the 16400 block of Bear Creek Parkway at around 2:30 a.m.

Friday, March 12

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI in the 16300 block of Northeast 51st Street after being pulled over for a traffic violation.

No room for you: A woman driver reported that an unknown suspect attempted to enter her vehicle while she was driving in the 9300 block of Avondale Road.

Thursday, March 11

Phone threats: Redmond police investigated a case of a threatening phone call that was received by a Microsoft employee who works in the 15000 block of Northeast 36th Street. However, there was not enough evidence to pursue charges.

Caught on tape: There is video surveillance showing a suspect stealing a bicycle from a commercial campus in the 15500 block of Northeast 31st Street.
