Sunday, Oct. 7

Bike theft: Redmond police responded to two reports of bike thefts. The first came at 4:07 p.m. from the 15800 block of Northeast 90th Street on Education Hill. The second report came from a residence in the 15300 block of Redmond Way downtown at 5:24 p.m. There are no suspects at this time.

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast of Overlake at 4:58 p.m. He was booked on warrants and will be charged later for felony theft.

No sharp objects: Redmond police contacted a female in the 7300 block of Old Redmond Road in Grass Lawn regarding a stolen knife at 12:18 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 6

DUI: Redmond police conducted a traffic stop at 10:31 p.m. in the 9000 block of 164th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

Shoplifting: Redmond police investigated shoplift report from the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street in downtown at 7:42 p.m. Limited suspect information was provided.

Fire: Redmond police responded to a report of a suspicious fire in the 2400 block of 173rd Place Northeast in Overlake at 6:11 p.m.

Burglary: At 8:24 a.m., Redmond police responded to a residence in the 8800 block of 132nd Place Northeast of Grass Lawn in reference to a burglary. There was no evidence that a burglary had been committed.

Friday, Oct. 5

Theft: At 7:14 p.m., Redmond police arrested a resident in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake for theft and an outstanding warrant.

Vandalism: It was reported at 12:01 p.m. that the tires to a vehicle in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown were slashed.

Shoplifting: A male suspect stole a cart load of items from a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown at 7:07 a.m. The incident was captured on video surveillance.
