Hearings set in three Redmond cases

• Genede Ahmed Kedir, who pleaded not guilty to charges of two counts of first-degree robbery in a pair of Seattle carjackings, had his case-setting hearing continued to Jan. 19, according to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

The 27-year-old was linked to three of the four attempted carjackings in Redmond on Sept. 19, 2016, according to court documents, and held women at gunpoint in five of the six incidents.

• Redmond naturopathic doctor Bruce A. Klein, who pleaded not guilty to charges of count 1 indecent liberties on Aug. 18, 2016, had his case-setting continued to Jan. 24 at King County Superior Court, according to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

The court issued Redmond police a felony warrant on Aug. 9 and officers arrested Klein at his place of employment, Medical Spa NW, 2555 152nd Ave. N.E. in Redmond, according to Becky Range, Redmond Police Department (RPD) public information officer.

A 29-year-old female victim reported to Redmond police that she was sexually assaulted during an appointment with Klein on June 10, according to a RPD press release and court documents.

• Tami Annett Christianson, who pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder charges of her 16-month-old son, had her case-setting hearing continued until Jan. 31, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

According to court documents, King County Sheriff deputies arrested Christianson, 36, at her parents’ home near Redmond on June 4, 2016 for investigation of the murder of her son. She was charged on June 8 and is being held in King County Jail in Seattle on $1 million bail.

During their initial investigation, deputies uncovered evidence that the boy’s mother had possibly caused the fatal injuries. Court documents state that an autopsy revealed that facial petechia consistent with asphixial mechanism was discovered.
