New Redmond Design Review Board members needed

Design professionals who care about the quality of architecture and landscaping in the City of Redmond can apply for a vacant position on the Design Review Board. The City of Redmond is looking for new members for its Design Review Board; two design professionals and one resident position.

Volunteers on the seven-member Design Review Board review and make recommendations to City Council on site plans, landscape and architectural design and colors and materials for commercial, industrial and multi-family projects.

The board is comprised of five professionals from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture or urban design and two residents who represent the community at large. The current vacant positions are for two design professionals and one resident position. If available, please include a resume or summary of background and volunteer experience. All city board and commission appointments are volunteer positions. Candidates do not have to be residents of Redmond. Meetings are mandatory and held on the first and third Thursday evenings of every month.
