Tuesday, Feb. 21

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 2:06 p.m. in the 16200 block of Northeast 83rd Street. Someone assaulted a man at the transit center.

Monday, Feb. 20

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 8:44 a.m. in the 9400 block of 151st Avenue Northeast. Officers investigated the theft of license plates from a work van.

Sunday, Feb. 19

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 10:21 p.m. at the intersection of 166th Avenue Northeast and Redmond Way. A man was reportedly jumped by three others in the park. As officers tried to confirm facts of the story, the victim then declined to pursue charges.

Saturday, Feb. 18

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 9:16 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. A man filled two backpacks with items and left on a bike. Officers didn’t locate the suspect.

Friday, Feb. 17

Malicious mischief: Redmond police took a malicious-mischief report at 3:44 p.m. in the 3000 block of 180th Avenue Northeast. Someone spray painted on a telecommunications box.

Thursday, Feb. 16

Arrests: Redmond police responded to an anonymous 911 call at 6 p.m. at the library (15990 N.E. 85th St.), where the caller stated something similar to “send cops.” Four subjects were arrested for multiple charges, including disorderly conduct, a warrant and trespass. During the arrests and pat-downs, several knives were located and it took several hours for multiple officers to clear the scene.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 4:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. A male suspect fled on foot after stealing a pair of jeans.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

DUI: Redmond police arrested a male suspect for DUI at 11:35 p.m. at the westbound State Route 520 to West Lake Sammamish offramp and West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
